Wicked Warrior zips to showy MdSpWt win in debut

Wicked Strong tallied his fifth first-crop winner on Saturday when Wicked Warrior drew off to a 5 ½-length maiden special weight win in his career unveiling at Thistledown (VIDEO).

Wicked Warrior made short work of his foes with an impressive final quarter-mile after setting all the pace early, then getting a breather on the turn before opening up easily at the top of the lane before being geared down late.

The winner is owned by Bruce Tallisman and was bred by Catherine and Peter Sheppell.
