Wicked Strong is up to 15 First-Crop winners after an impressive week that has already had four winners and his third stakes horse. A top-10 sire in several categories, Wicked Strong bred 131 mares this past season and will stand for $6,000 live foal, stands and nurses for the 2020 season.

The next day, D W Strong broke his maiden by six lengths at Delta Downs. Bred by DW2 Equine LLC, D W Strong is the first foal out of Stormin’ Taffy, who is a half-sister to Grade 1 winner King David. The same day Wicked Slider, already stakes-placed, collected his second victory in an allowance race at Indiana Grand.
On Oct. 25, Artemus Eagle broke his maiden at Keeneland, winning by nearly three lengths. The Ken and Sarah Ramsey homebred is out of a full sister to Tropical Park Derby winner Amen Kitten.
Wicked Warrior, who also owns two wins, kicked off the weekend on Saturday with a third-place effort in the $150,000 Juvenile S. at Mahoning Valley S. The dark bay colt was bred by Catherine and Peter Sheppell.
