The Spendthrift stallion is currently fifth on the 2023 Freshman Sire list with over $900,000 in progeny earnings. His multiple stakes winner The Wine Steward, as well as Grade 1-place Next Level, are both potential Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) starters.
Vino Bianco led all the way in Friday night’s 5 ½-furlong sprint. He set a measured pace for the first three furlongs, then pulled away willingly in the stretch to win as much the best.
Vino Bianco is owned by Richard Davis and was bred in Kentucky by Jim and Janie Wells. The bay colt is out of Grade 2-placed Painted Woman.
