Race Day up to a dozen First-Crop winners
November 11, 2019
Wicked Race’s two-length victory Nov. 11 at Laurel Park gave Race Day his 12th winner from his First-Crop, which ranks in the top-10 on the Freshman Sire list. Race Day also has five stakes horses this year, fourth-most among his peers.
Wicked Race found her stride less than a furlong into the one-mile race, rocketing to the front and opening up as much as five lengths before coasting home.
The winner is owned by Matthew Schera and was bred in Kentucky by Nancy Shuford. Her dam Wicked Cricket is a sister to Pocahontas S. (G2) winner Dancinginherdreams and stakes winner Doubled.
