Pricedtoperfection intriguing in Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1)
October 27, 2015
Temple City’s Pricedtoperfection may be light on experience, but trainer Chad Brown saw enough in her three-length Belmont Park maiden special weight win on the turf to enter the 2-year-old filly in the $1 million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1) on Friday at Keeneland.
With $2,013,947 in progeny earnings and 35 winners to date in 2015, Temple City ranks in the top 10 on the Second-Crop Sire list.
Pricedtoperfection has done her sire proud to date, following the footsteps of her 3-year-old full sister Miss Temple City, a stakes winner of $382,799, Temple City’s leading earner from his first two crops.
Friday’s race, the 8th on the card at 4:50 p.m ET, has a full field of 14, plus one also-eligible. Pricedtoperfection drew post 11, with Irad Ortiz, Jr. riding for owners Klaravich Stables and William H. Lawrence.
