November 6, 2017
Palace’s second offspring ever offered at auction brought a winning bid of $140,000 at Monday’s Fasig-Tipton November Sale in central Kentucky.
A multiple Grade 1 winner of more than $1.5 million, Palace bred 227 mares during his first two seasons at Spendthrift. His first foals will be yearlings of 2018, and he will stand for $6,000 live foal next year.
Bluewater Sales Agency consigned the filly, hip No. 18, which went to Northface Bloodstock. She is out of the Broken Vow mare Prenuptial Vow, who is the dam of stakes winner Theperfectvow.
