Palace among leaders with 16 First-Crop winners
December 7, 2019
White Lies scored by 1 ¼-lengths in a six-furlong maiden special weight for 2-year-old fillies on Dec. 6 to become the 16th winner from Palace’s first crop of runners.
Not only is the Spendthrift stallion in the top 10 of the Freshman class by winners, but he has a higher winners from runners percentage than any sire in the top 10.
White Lies’ win on Friday at Hawthorne came in her third start, following a second in her Oct. 19 debut and a close fourth in a stake on Nov. 1, both also at Hawthorne.
White Lies was bred by John Truscott Racing and is a half-sister to stakes winner Go Lady Jay and stakes-placed Colonel Klink. The winner is owned by Knollwood Stables.
