The 2-year-old Omaha Beach filly is the 17th winner for her sire, who is currently second behind Maximus Mischief on the 2023 First-Crop Sire list. Omaha Beach will be represented by his first Breeders’ Cup starter Friday at Santa Anita with Omaha Girl in the $2 million Juvenile Fillies (G1).
Noriskit Nobiscuit was sixth along the rail after the first half-mile. She came began to make up ground on the turn, then swung off the fence, and with a swift turn of foot, took the lead in upper stretch. She dug in gamely to hold off Standoutsensation for the win.
Owned by Joe Politi, the dark bay filly sold to her owner for $200,000 at the 2022 Keeneland September Yearling sale. She was bred in Kentucky by Clarkland Farm and is the first foal out of Chateau Hope, who is a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Sean Avery.
