No Confession extends winning streak to 3 with first stakes victory
March 7, 2023
Four-time champion General Sire Into Mischief got his 127th lifetime stakes winner March 6 at Parx when No Confession rolled to a four-length win in the $75,000 Rittenhouse Square S.
The 3-year-old bay is undefeated in three starts this year, starting with a 10 ½-length maiden win on Jan. 3, then an allowance win on Jan. 23 before Monday’s victory.
Despite being sent off as the fourth choice in the field of six, No Confession was much the best. He stalked the pace for three furlongs, then made his move for the lead on the turn. He was in front outside the quarter-mile pole, and kept to task down the lane to win going away in 1:19.27 for the 6 ½-furlongs on a fast track.
Owned by Kingdom Racing, No Confession has earned $135,550 and placed in six of 10 starts. He was bred in Kentucky by Pin Oak Stud and is the lone foal out of the stakes winner Ready to Confess, whose dam Confessional won the Frizette S. (G1).
