National Treasure named champion older dirt male at Eclipse Awards

National Treasure, new to the Spendthrift Farm stallion register for 2025, was named champion older dirt male off wins in the Metropolitan H. (G1), Pegasus World Cup (G1) and California Crown (G1).

National Treasure was campaigned by SF Racing LLC, Starlight Racing, Madaket Stables LLC, Robert E Masterson, Stonestreet Stables LLC, Jay A Schoenfarber, Waves Edge Capital LLC & Catherine Donovan and was bred by Peter Blum Thoroughbreds LLC.

National Treasure, who also won the 2023 Preakness S. (G1), was retired at the end of 2024 with earnings of $5,578,000 and is standing this year at Spendthrift Farm for a fee of $40,000 S&N.
