Mortgage Payment tallies another easy victory

Mortgage Payment, a 4-year-old son of Dominus, scored his second convincing win in as many starts on May 18 at the new Century Mile Racetrack in Edmonton, Alberta.

As he did in his debut on May 5, the dark bay went right to the lead once again on Saturday and never looked back, covering the 5 ½-furlongs in 1:03 3/5 to win by 5 ¼-lengths.

Mortgage Payment is owned by Kootenay Royal Stable and bred by Pierre Esquirol/Racing Hearts Ranch of Edmonton. Mortgage Payment’s dam Angelic Deed has produced six winners to date and is a sister to four stakes horses, including four-time stakes winner Beloved Trick.
