The success of Vekoma’s first crop of runners at the track this year is translating into stellar results for the Spendthrift stallion at the Keeneland September sale, the latest coming Thursday with a $600,000 colt early in the session.

Hip No. 885 was consigned by Beau Lane Bloodstock, agent and went to Resolute Bloodstock.

The chestnut colt’s dam Love Those Legs has produced a pair of winners and is a half-sister to graded performers Fearless Vision and Divine Angel. This is also the family of Grade 1 winners Val’s Prince, Sqander and Goodbye Halo.

Vekoma is the leading Second-Crop sire of yearling in 2024, averaging $239,644.
