Maximus Mischief has outstanding week with five maiden winners

Maximus Mischief, the leading First-Crop sire in several categories, has had a remarkable week with five new maiden winners to bring his year-to-date total to 25.
As previously reported, True Princess and Madness earned their diplomas on Oct. 21 and 22, respectively. Then on Oct. 24 Ginuccha rolled to a four-length, front-running victory going 5 ½-furlongs at Parx. Owned by Cash is King LLC and L C Racing LLC, Ginuccha was bred by Stephen Upchurch and Luis Coronado.
Two days later on Oct. 26 Maximus Mischief tallied maiden winners at Laurel Park and Remington Park. At Laurel, the colt Regalo cruised to a 5 ¼-length victory going seven furlongs. A $280,000 purchase at this year’s Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Spring 2-year-olds sale, Regalo is owned by Goodfella’s LLC. The bay colt was bred by Sean Curtin.
At Remington Storm Catcher blew away his competition by 14 ½-lengths going 5 ½-furlongs. Storm Catcher was a $170,000 yearling at the 2022 Fasig-Tipton Summer sale. The bay juvenile is owned by Ron Stolich and bred by Dr. Sherry Lee Talowsky VMD.
With brilliant recent results, Maximus Mischief leads the First-Crop list with $1,622,114 in progeny earnings, 32 wins, and two stakes winners. Spendthrift will announce his 2024 fee later this year.
