Latest Mor Spirit winner cruises by 8 ¾-lengths

Mohamad rolled to an 8 ¾-length maiden special weight win on Sept. 23 to become the ninth winner for top-10 First-Crop sire Mor Spirit.

Mohamad was prominent right from the start of the six-furlong race at Century Mile. After battling for the lead for the first half-mile, he easily pulled clear and was in complete control in the stretch, winning going away despite being geared down late.

The winner is owned by Mohamad Khan and was bred by Stone Ranches. He is the second foal out of Unusual Style, a sister to a pair of stakes winners.

Mor Spirit was also represented in the past week by Velocitor, who took a six-furlong allowance race at Woodbine on Sept. 22 for his second career win. The dark bay colt has also placed in the Victoria S. over the Canadian oval.
