Kiss the Girl an easy winner of the Geisha S.
January 29, 2022
Into Mischief’s 5-year-old daughter Kiss the Girl collected her third career stakes win Saturday at chilly Laurel Park, bounding home a 4 ½-length winner of the $75,000 Geisha S.
A two-time stakes winner last year, once on grass and once on the main track, Kiss the Girl has won or placed in seven stakes and earned $396,686.
Her victory kicked off a huge day for Into Mischief, with Life Is Good taking the $3 million Pegasus World Cup (G1) later in the afternoon.
Kiss the Girl, the even-money favorite in the one-mile, one-turn race, got a good stalking trip before unleashing her rally between horses at the top of the long Laurel stretch. Artful Splatter, who had the lead coming into the lane, only offered token resistance as Kiss the Girl drew off at will to win handily.
The winner was bred by Classic Thoroughbred XII and is owned by Three Diamonds Farm, who purchased her for $210,000 out of the 2018 Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Yearling Sale.
