Jimmy Creed’s hip No. 239 had one of the fastest Under Tack breezes during last week’s show, and that sent the colt’s sale price soaring to $240,000 during Tuesday’s opening session of the OBS Spring Sale of 2-year-olds in Training.

Consigned Jimmy Creed’s hip No. 239 had one of the fastest Under Tack breezes during last week’s show, and that sent the colt’s sale price soaring by Marcial Galan, agent, the colt went to West Point Thoroughbreds, L. E. B. agent. The colt recorded a :09 4/5-second breeze at the Under Tack show.

Out of the stakes-placed Days Like This, the bay colt, already named Slider, is a half-brother to stakes winner Pete Marwick. Days Like This is a half-sister to a pair of stakes winners and from the direct family of Grade 1 winner Ultimate Eagle.

Jimmy Creed’s stakes horses in 2023 include recent Bay Shore S. (G3) winner Joey Freshwater and Casa Creed, who has been working steadily as he ready for his return to the races following a gallant second in the Saudi Arabia Turf Sprint (G3) in February.
