Jimmy Creed has top filly at Keeneland Day 4
September 16, 2016
The winning bid of $385,000 for a Jimmy Creed yearling during Friday’s session of the Keeneland September sale was the top price paid for a filly during the fourth day of the sale that runs through September 25.
The filly was consigned by Gainesway, agent and cataloged as hip No. 700. Steve Young, agent, signed the ticket for the bay Kentucky-bred.
The filly is out of Yearly Report, winner of the Delaware Oaks, Black-Eyed Susan S., and Santa Ynez S., all Grade 2 events. From her five foals to race, she has accounted for Spinaway S. (G1) winner Condo Commando and the multiple graded stakes placed colt Checklist.
Jimmy Creed, who stood the 2016 season at Spendthrift for $7,500, has 38 remaining lots cataloged in the sale.
