Jimmy Creed filly much the best in debut
September 7, 2017
Fancy Feelin rolled to a 9 1/4-length win in her debut Thursday at Belterra Park in a six-furlong maiden special weight contest for 2-year-old fillies (VIDEO).
She is the 12th winner for first-crop sire Jimmy Creed, second-most for all Freshman Sires. With 12 winners from 22 starters, Jimmy Creed is the only sire in the top 10 to have his winners striking at better than a 50% rate.
Fancy Feelin had little trouble dispatching her competition, drawing off with complete authority in the stretch to win under wraps.
Owned by her breeders Daniel and Patricia Yates, Fancy Feelin is the first foal out of the Majestic Warrior mare Rush to War.
