Jazzole, a 2-year-old Mitole colt, earned his first stakes win Oct. 2 at Horseshoe Indianapolis with a gritty victory in the $100,000 Circle City S.
After finishing second in his July 29 debut, the dark bay colt has reeled off three straight wins. He is the sixth stakes winner this year for Mitole, who leads all Second-Crop sires by winners, with 78 and wins, with 119.
Jazzole was in the early mix for the lead before dropping back to fourth going into the turn. He began his rally up the inside with about three furlongs to go and after a stretch-long battle with Large Pour, got the better of his foe by a neck on the wire.
Owned by William and Corinne Heiligbrodt, Jazzole has earned $109,200.
Jazzole was bred by Deann Baer and Greg Baer DVM. Out of Kisses from Kate, Jazzole has a yearling full brother, a weanling half-brother by Rock Your World, and his dam is due to Thousand Words for 2025.
