Iowa Cradle S. goes to Jimmy Creed’s Greedy Creedy

Greedy Creedy fought off an early challenge to score a 2 ½-length victory in the $77,000 Iowa Cradle S. Saturday evening at Prairie Meadows to give the 2-year-old son of Jimmy Creed his first stakes win in just his fourth lifetime start.

Jimmy Creed now has 31 black type horses and nine graded stakes horses, above other Fourth-Crop sires Paynter, Take Charge Indy, Flat Out and Orb.

Greedy Creedy, who broke his maiden by 10 ¼-lengths in early August, is 2-0-1 in four starts and has earned $74,734 for Poindexter Thoroughbreds and Travis Murphy, the former also his breeder and the latter also the gray/roan’s trainer.
