Into Mischief off to white-hot start in 2021

Fresh off two straight wins as leading the General Sire List, Into Mischief is off to a fantastic start in 2021, getting his third stakes winner in the first five days of the year on Jan. 5 when She’s My Gem won the Orleans S. at Delta Downs.

Five-year-old She’s My Gem was much the best in Tuesday’s five-furlong race. Settled in fourth position about three lengths from the front on the backstretch, she accelerated quickly around the turn and took command in upper stretch, then pulled away with authority to win by three lengths (VIDEO).

The bay mare is owned by Dale F. Taylor Racing and was bred in Kentucky by Don and Pam Mattox. She’s My Gem now has two stakes wins and a record of 4-4-0 in nine starts, with earnings of $167,860.
