Huntsinger becomes first stakes winner for Cinco Charlie

Cinco Charlie initial stakes winner from his first crop came on Sunday at Remington Park when Huntsinger rallied to win the Kip Deville S.

Cinco Charlie is a top-five First-Crop sire with eight winners to date, including Huntsinger, who is now undefeated in two starts.

Last in the field of seven 2-year-olds after a quarter-mile, Huntsinger began to make up ground on the turn, then came three-wide into the stretch to run past Vulcan in mid-stretch, winning by 1 ¼-lengths in 1:10.85 for the six furlongs on the fast main track.

Huntsinger is owned by Sam Sherman and John Middleton and was bred by Larry Huntsinger.
