Harking the latest stakes winner for Dominus

Harking made a bold move at the top of the stretch then drew off late to win the $50,000 Budweiser S. May 12 at SunRay Park, marking the first stakes victory for the Dominus filly (VIDEO).

Stakes-placed last year at three, Harking has won half of her eight lifetime starts for owner Edward Hindman. In the Budweiser, Harking contested the lead four-wide before taking over midway on the turn, the pulling away in the lane to win by three lengths under a hand ride.

Harking was bred in Kentucky by Robert West, Jr. She is the first foal out of Cashew Cat, who placed in more than half of her 40 lifetime starts.
