Hanakotoba latest winner for Can the Man

Can the Man, a top-five First-Crop Sire of winners, tallied number nine on Oct. 15 when Hanakotoba broke her maiden at Kempton Racecourse in Great Britain.

Can the Man’s nine winners currently places him fourth on the First-Crop Sire list. Spendthrift Farm recently announced that his stud fee would be $3,500, stands and nurses.

Hanakotoba is owned by Mrs. J. Morley and was bred by Elise Handler and Matthew Schering. The bay filly is the first foal out of Dalis on Stage, a daughter of four-time graded stakes winner Show Me the Stage.
