Goldencents – Saving the best for last at OBS 2yo sale

Goldencents’ final lot in the April 24-27 OBS 2-year-old sale wound up attracting some of the most spirited bidding of the Friday session, with Jay Em Ess Stable coming away as the winning bidder at $400,000 for the colt by the first-crop sire.
With several of the most prominent 2-year-old auctions completed this season, Goldencents’ sales average of $118,095 is the second-most of any Freshman Sire with at least 20 lots sold.
Woodside Ranch, agent, consigned the Jay Em Ess purchase, hip No. 1161, following a bullet work of 10 seconds flat that the prior week’s Under Tack show.
The bay colt is the first foal out of Urloveisasymphony, a daughter of the stakes-placed Lifting the Veil.
