August 19, 2017
Zensational Kiss turned in a powerhouse performance in her first career outing Saturday at Penn National, bounding to an 8 ½-length maiden special weight debut win (VIDEO).
Zensational Kiss was the second winner of the day for her sire Flat Out, who now has seven winners from his first crop, one of only five freshman sires to reach that number.
Zensational Kiss was hung four-wide from her outside post, but asserted herself after the first quarter-mile, going on to win in an impressive display in a quick :52.58 for the 4 ½-furlongs.
The winner was bred by Brandywine Farm and is owned and trained by Efrain Miranda.
