Flat Out filly hammers for $265K at Midlantic Sale
May 22, 2017
A filly from the first crop of Spendthrift stallion Flat Out brought $265,000 during the first day of the May 22-23 Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Two-Year-Olds in Training sale.
The dark bay filly, hip No. 264, was consigned by Paul Sharp, agent and went to trainer Simon Callaghan, agent. The Kentucky-bred is out of the three-time stakes winner Beau Watch and worked a swift furlong in 10 seconds flat in last week’s Under Tack show.
Tomorrow’s Midlantic session features an additional three lots for Flat Out, who ranks fifth on the 2017 First-Crop Sire list.
