Come Dancing to make final start in BC Filly & Mare Sprint (G1)
November 5, 2020
Malibu Moon’s Grade 1-winning mare Come Dancing is likely to have the final start of her career in Saturday’s $1 million Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Sprint (G1) at Keeneland.
The 6-year-old mare has had a stellar career, winning five graded stakes to date and earning $1,186,783 for her breeder/owner Blue Devil Racing Stable.
Come Dancing proved she still is at the top of her game in winning the Honorable Miss S. (G2) Sept. 6 at Saratoga, her most recent start.
The dark bay drew post 3 of nine in the seven-furlong race and has worked fantastic since the Honorable Miss, clocking three “bullet” moves, including one at Keeneland on Nov. 1.
The Filly and Mare Sprint is race 4 at noon ET on Saturday.
Come Dancing is one of Malibu Moon’s 10 stakes horses this year. The perennial top stallion will stand for $35,000 S&N in 2021.
