Cloud Computing colt earns TDN Rising Star in Saratoga unveiling
August 13, 2022
I’m Very Busy turned in an eye-catching career debut Saturday at Saratoga, galloping to a 3 ¾-length maiden special weight win a 1 1/16-miles on the turf (WATCH RACE).
The flashy 2-year-old son of Cloud Computing was named a TDN Rising Star, the first for his sire, and the third overall winner for the Spendthrift stallion.
I’m Very Busy was between horses early on, with a loose on the lead Lord of the Navy drawing away from the field in the first three furlongs. The field began to close ranks at the half-way point, with Flavien Prat waiting patiently to time his move aboard I’m Very Busy. That time came in upper stretch, and I’m Very Busy responded instantly, rocketing past Baie Lounge inside the final furlong to win going away in 1:43.10 on the firm turf.
I’m Very Busy earned $57,750 for his owners Team Hanley, Richard Schermerhorn and Paul Braverman. Bred by Glenn E Brok LLC, I’m Very Busy sold for $135,000 at the OBS March 2-year-old sale.
I’m Very Busy is out of Two Kisses, a full sister to stakes winner Kiss Me Twice and a half-sister to Answer Lively, winner of the 1998 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) en route to champion 2-year-old male honors.
