Cinco Charlie a Top-10 First-Crop sire of winners

Cinco Charlie was represented by his 12^th winner this year on Saturday when Charlie Five O cruised to a 6 ½-length maiden win at Aqueduct.

The bay colt made short work of his foes in the six-furlong affair, taking command at the mid-way point and pulling away easily while under a hand ride.

Charlie Five O is owned by Spedale Family Racing and Flying P Stable and was bred in Kentucky by Linden Branch. He is out of Lookin’ Foxy, whose half-sister Humoristic is a two-time winner of the Violet S. (G3).

Among Cinco Charlie’s 12 winners are Huntsinger, who has gone on to win the Kip Deville S., and the stakes-placed Angel’s Sassy. Cinco Charlie is standing 2021 at Spendthrift Farm for $5,000 S&N.
