Chacha Real Smooth second winner of the weekend for Palace

First-Crop sire Palace tallied his second winner over the first weekend of August on Sunday when Chacha Real Smooth drew away to win a 5 ½-furlong maiden special weight for 2-year-old by nearly three lengths (VIDEO).
Three-wide down the backstretch and around the turn, Chacha Real Smooth swept to the lead at the top of the stretch and pulled clear with strong strides to win officially by 2 ¾-lengths.
The winner is owned by River Ridge Ranch and was bred by DNAce Thoroughbreds LTD. The dark bay juvenile comes from the same family as Grade 1 winner and influential stallion Wildcat Heir and multiple graded stakes winner Forest Heiress.
