Brody’s Cause colts go for six figures at Keeneland

during the second week of the Sept. 9-22 Keeneland Yearling sale.
On Sept. 15, hip No. 1961, consigned by Paramount Sales, agent, was sold for $115,000 to DWF Inc. The gray or roan is out of the Street Cry mare Cozzy Street, whose dam won the Fair Grounds Oaks (G2) and was second in both the Kentucky Oaks (G1) and Mother Goose S. (G1).
Two days later on Wednesday, hip No. 2157, another colt, went to Kings Equine for $110,000 from the Taylor Made Sales Agency consignment. The Kentucky-bred juvenile is out of Pretty in Platinum, whose dam Savorthetime won or placed in 16 stakes in her brilliant career.
With three days remaining in the auction, Brody’s Cause has 10 more lots to go through the ring.
