A colt from the first crop of multiple Grade 1 winner Brody’s Cause turned in a 10 seconds-flat work during Wednesday’s OBS Under Tack show, just a tick off the fastest time of the day (VIDEO).
The OBS 2-year-olds in Training Sale will be held June 9-12. Brody’s Cause has a total of 18 lots consigned to the auction, which starts daily at 10 a.m. ET.
Mayberry Farm, agent, is the consignor of hip No. 549, a chestnut out of the Any Given Saturday mare Sweet Love, who has four stakes winning siblings, two of them graded winners. This is the same family as the multiple graded winner and $1.7 million earner Flag Down.
Brody’s Cause won the Blue Grass S. and Breeders’ Futurity, both Grade 1 events, before entering stud at Spendthrift in 2017. He is standing the 2020 season for $7,500 live foal.
