Bidders reach to $325,000 for Temple City colt

After a 10-flat breeze during the Under Tack Show by Temple City’s hip No. 906, bidders ran the price up to $325,000 before Ed Plesa, agent signed the ticket during the Thursday session of the OBS Spring Sale of 2-year-olds in Training.
Consigned by Paul Sharp, agent, the dark bay comes from a female family full of black type. His dam Anahauc is stakes-placed. His second dam was also stakes-placed and produced a pair of stakes winners, while his third dam Playcaller was a stakes winner and the dam of Grade 1 winner Diplomat Lady and Grade 2 winner Dream Play.
Through the first three days of the sale, Temple City’s juveniles have averaged $136,250. He has three lots in Friday’s closing day session.
