Aprilinthepines the third winner of the week for Cinco Charlie

Aprilinthepines’ maiden special weight win on Aug. 18 marked the third winner in the past seven days for Cinco Charlie. The Spendthrift stallion now has five winners overall, putting him behind only Not This Time on the First-Crop Sire list.

Owned by Wendy Hickey, Aprilinthepines won the five-furlong contest for 2-year-old fillies by three lengths.

The winner was bred by Front Range Racing LLC and is a half-sister to the stakes winner Blue Mountain Bell.
