Temple City got his 20th lifetime black type winner Saturday at Arlington Park when Another Mystery rallied to a two-length win in the $75,000 Black Tie Affair S.
The classy 5-year-old had been close to capturing a stakes on a few occasions, placing in both the Arlington S. (G3) and John Henry Turf Cup (G2) in the past year, before Saturday’s breakthrough win.
Another Mystery was last of seven for the first half mile, then commenced his rally with about three furlongs to go. He took the lead in mid-stretch and pulled away to wrap up the 1 1/8-miles on the turf in 1:45.50.

Another Mystery’s dam was herself a Grade 3 winner and has produced five stakes winners. Another Mystery is her last reported foal.
