$375,000 colt kicks off Keeneland Book 2 for Malibu Moon

Perennial leading sire Malibu Moon was represented by a $375,000 colt during Wednesday’s session of the 2020 Keeneland September Yearling sale, the first day of Book 2.

Consigned by Lane’s End, agent, hip No. 452 went to Evergreen Bloodstock.

Already named Lunar Legacy, the bay colt is out of Unenchantedevening, making him a full brother to Chandelier S. (G1) and Del Mar Debutante (G1) winner Moonshine Memories, as well as stakes winner Indian Evening.

Lunar Legacy’s second dam is Evil Elaine, dam of Horse of the Year Favorite Trick and from the extended family of this year’s Belmont S. (G1) winner Tiz the Law.
