Malibu Moon had his top weanling of the year Tuesday at the Keeneland November sale when hip No. 298 went for $350,000 to Glencrest Farm, agent.
The colt was consigned by Dromoland Farm, agent.
The dark bay Kentucky-bred is a half-brother to this year’s Spinaway S. (G2) winner Sippican Harbor and the graded stakes-placed filly Bodacious Babe, from of the Deputy Minister mare Blossomed.
Malibu Moon, annually one of the top sires in both the sales ring and on the race track, has progeny earnings of over $8.8 million to date this year, led by Grade 1 winners Ransom the Moon and Magnum Moon.
