Leading Second-Crop Sire Jimmy Creed had his best result of the April 24-27 OBS 2-year-old sale on Thursday when a filly by the popular young stallion sold for $350,000 Red Baron’s Barn or Rancho Temescal LLC.
Hartley/DeRenzo Thoroughbreds consigned the filly, hip No. 711, who had breezed a very swift furlong in 10 1/5 seconds during the Under Tack show.
The filly’s stakes-placed dam Mountain Tiger has three runners to date, all winners.
Jimmy Creed currently sits in third in the 2018 Second Crop Sire list. His top 3-year-olds this year include San Vicente S. (G2) winner Kanthaka, Grade 3 winner Strike Lightning and the Grade 1-placed filly Spectator.
