$160,000 filly tops early Tuesday Saratoga returns for Mitole

Mitole had his best results thus far of the Saratoga New York-bred Selected Yearling sale early during Tuesday’s session when hip No. 429 sold for $160,000.
Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, the bay filly went to Joseph Miglore, agent for Steven Rocco.
Out of the First Defence mare Summer on the Lawn, the filly is a half-sister to Hollywood Derby (G1) winner Beyond Brilliant. Summer on the Lawn is herself a half-sister to multiple graded stakes winner Summer Applause. This is also the family of millionaire Recoup the Cash.
Mitole, the 2019 Eclipse Champion Sprinter after winning four Grade 1’s during the campaign, joined the Spendthrift stallion roster the following year and stood for $15,000 live foal this season.
