Spendthrift Farm’s trio of Grade 1-winning first-season stallions – Dornoch, Kingsbarns, and National Treasure – have all had their first respective mares confirmed in foal.

Dornoch captured last year’s Fountain of Youth S. (G2) at Gulfstream, the 1 ¼-mile Belmont S. (G1) at Saratoga, and the Haskell S. (G1) at Monmouth. He also won the Remsen S. (G2) at Aqueduct as a 2-year-old. His introductory fee is $40,000 S&N.

Uncle Mo’s 2024 Stephen Foster S. (G1) winner Kingsbarns had his first reported mare check in foal at Phoenix Farm & Racing near Georgetown, KY. Owned by YG Farms, LLC, the mare, Corner Kick, is an allowance-winning daughter of Frosted.

On top of his victory in Churchill’s Stephen Foster (G1), Kingsbarns captured the Louisiana Derby (G2) at Fair Grounds as a 3-year-old and the Ben Ali S. (G3) at Keeneland at 4. He is standing his first season for $20,000 S&N.

National Treasure, the 2024 Eclipse Award winner for Older Dirt Mile after wins in the Pegasus Invitational (G1) at Gulfstream and Metropolitan Handicap (G1) at Saratoga, had his first reported in-foal mare at Hidden Creek Farm in Lexington, KY. Owned by Scott & Lanae Pierce, the Honor Code mare Essential Ellie is a full sister to Grade 3 winner Essential Wager and half-sister to recent Oaklawn stakes winner Bru Na Boinne.
