Rock Your World filly brings six figures early at F-T July Yearling sale

Rock Your World, whose first foals are yearlings of 2024, got the yearling sales season off to a very good start when a filly by the Grade 1-winning sire brought $110,000 at the Fasig-Tipton July Sale Tuesday.
The filly, hip No. 35, was consigned by Warrendale Sales and went to Talla Racing, with Kim Lloyd agent.
Bred in Kentucky, the bay juvenile is out of the stakes-winning Rockport Harbor mare Harbor Mist. She has had four foals to race, all winners, topped by the stakes-winning Goldencents filly Crazy Hot, while the filly’s third dam is Grade 2 winner Special Warmth. This is also the family of Grade 1 winners Marlin and Stormello.
Rock Your World, a son of leading sire Candy Ride (ARG), won the Santa Anita Derby (G1) in dominating fashion over a field that included Medina Spirit, Defunded and Law Professor. Standing for $7,500 live foal, Rock Your World covered a total of 337 mares in his first two seasons at stud.
