Another Mystery adds Buck’s Boy H. to list of stakes wins

Temple City’s venerable turf performer Another Mystery took the $75,000 Buck’s Boy S. June 23 at Hawthorne for his fifth career stakes win [WATCH RACE].
The Team Block homebred gave his connections another thrilling win with the come-from-behind tally in the one-mile turf race. Content to sit fifth in the six-horse field for the first three-quarters of a mile, Another Mystery came three-wide into the stretch, then ran down a stubborn Man On Attack to win by three-quarters of a length over a yielding turf course.
Another Mystery has won or placed in 16 stakes and has earned $714,570 in 40 career starts. The 8-year-old is out of Ioya Two, herself a five-time stakes winner who has also produced five black type winners.
Temple City, widely considered one of America’s best sires at $5,000, has eight stakes horses in 2024, topped by Grade 1 winner Du Jour.
