Undefeated Jimmy Creed colt gets first stakes win
January 28, 2024
Tiz Considered drew away in the final furlong of Saturday’s $75,000 Gexa Groovy S. to register a 2 ½-length victory in the first stakes outing for the 3-year-old Jimmy Creed colt.
Tiz Considered led virtually the entire six-furlong trip. He emerged with the lead shortly after the break and had a clear advantage until midway on the turn, when confronted by Victory for Vets. Those two tussled tightly before Tiz Considered put him away with a furlong to run, pulling clear late to win convincingly.
Tiz Considered, who broke his maiden at first asking on January 5 over the same track and distance, has earned $67,500 in his two wins for Michael and Linda Mazoch. The uniquely-colored bay was bred by William Jeffrey Osborne.
Jimmy Creed, the sire of over 60 black type horses lifetime, has gotten off to an excellent start in 2024. Along with Tiz Considered, he has accounted for San Vicente S. (G2) third Slider and Sunshine Filly and Mare Turf S. runner-up Baby Steps. Jimmy Creed’s 2024 fee is $10,000 live foal.
