The colt’s dam Smooth Performer was a stakes winner and is also the dam of Arlington-Washington Lassie S. winner Into Trouble, who is by Into Mischief. Smooth Player, the dam of Smooth Performer, was a three-time graded stakes winner and is the granddam champion Maximus.
The remaining two days of the sale feature six morning Omaha Beach juveniles, including hip No. 752, who worked a furlong in :09 4/5 and will sell on Wednesday.
Omaha Beach, a three-time Grade 1 winner during his sophomore campaign, stands this year for $30,000 live foal.
