Gormleys Got Game hits jackpot at Indiana Grand

Fresh off getting his first graded stakes winner on Saturday, top-10 First-Crop sire Gormley got his seventh overall winner on Tuesday when Gormleys Got Game tallied a maiden special weight win at Indiana Grand.

The chestnut 2-year-old found his best stride in the stretch after closely prompting the pace, then forging to the lead in mid-stretch and pulling away to win the 5 ½-furlong race by nearly two lengths.

Owned and trained by Duane Swingley, Gormleys Got Game was bred in Kentucky by Michelle, Mallory and Matthew Morehead and is the latest of seven winners out of Makeitagame.
