Hit It a Bomb’s Conformist rolls to 11-length stakes win

Conformist powered to an 11-length victory in the $50,000 Ontario County S. Monday at Finger Lakes to give Hit It a Bomb his second stakes winner in the past three days.

On Saturday Hit It Dubai, a 2-year-old colt, won the Group 3 Clasico Estrellas Junior Sprint in his native country of Argentina.

Conformist made short work of his foes in the six-furlong affair for 3-year-olds. He came out of the gate on top and set solid fractions, getting the half-mile in :46.41, then easily drawing off in the stretch to win as he pleased.

The winner is owned by My Purple Haze Stables LLC and was bred by Scott and Debbie Pierce.
