Ontheonesandtwos gave his Jimmy Creed his second juvenile winner of the young 2021 2-year-old season Thursday at Churchill Downs (VIDEO).
Currently ranked second on the 2021 Leading Sires of 2-years-old list, Jimmy Creed’s largest and best-bred crop of youngsters will be making their debuts throughout the year. Jimmy Creed is among the top three sires of his generation cumulatively, with 15 black type winners and 35 black type horses.
Ontheonesandtwos, who was bred by Spendthrift Farm tracked the leaders early on before taking command at the top of the stretch. She fended off fellow first-timer Green Up in the final furlong to win by nearly two lengths in a solid :57.67 for the five furlongs maiden special weight race on a fast track.
The winner is owned by Duece Greathouse and Cindy Hutson and is the second foal out of the graded stakes-placed Malibu Moon mare Cue the Moon.
Jimmy Creed’s first winner of the 2-year-old season came on April 15 at Keeneland when the filly Kaufymaker zipped to a 6 ¼-length maiden special weight win at 4 ½-furlongs. Kaufymaker is trained by Wesley Ward and was bred by her owner Gregory Kaufman.
