A colt from the first crop of multiple Grade 1 winner Gormley turned in a furlong bullet move of :09 4/5 during Saturday’s Under Tack show for next week’s OBS March Sale of 2-year-olds in Training, which will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The swift move tied her for the fastest work of the day with a trio of other juveniles.
Cataloged as hip No. 531 and consigned by Eddie Woods VIII, agent, the bay will sell on Wednesday. The Kentucky-bred is out of Green Eyed Cat and is a half-brother to stakes winner Little Kansas. The juvenile’s second dam is millionaire and multiple Grade 1 winner Critical Eye.
Gormley, winner of the FrontRunner S. (G1) at two and the Santa Anita Derby (G1) at three, has a total of nine lots selling in the two-day auction.
