Cloud Computing first yearlings shining at Keeneland January sale

The first crop of yearlings from Grade 1 winner Cloud Computing has turned in some impressive numbers at the Keeneland January sale. During Jan. 11-14, Cloud Computing had eight “short yearlings” bring an average of more than seven and a half times his stud fee.
Topping the results was hip No. 1479, consigned by Stuart Morris, agent, went to Five G Ranch for $95,000. The bay filly is out of Literary Lady, whose oldest foal is a 2-year-old of 2021. The filly’s third dam Primarily produced Canadian champions Poetically and Primaly, as well as Grade 1 winner Citronnade and graded stakes winner and sire Whiskey Wisdom.
Cloud Computing won the Preakness S. (G1), defeating Always Dreaming, Classic Empire and Gunnevera, among others. In his first two seasons at stud at Spendthrift he bred more than 120 mares each year. He is standing for $5,000 S&N in 2021.
